This Squashed Balloon is an interesting deployment method for water rockets. The pressure inside the lower smaller diameter soft drink container expands its walls preventing the ballon from separating the containers until the thrust phase is complete.

Helicopter Attached - "The rocket took off pretty straight, then canted into the wind, pretty much like my Shuttle does. It cruised into the wind, and only began to arc over when the D12-3 ejected. The helo ejected as advertised, and the chute opened on the rocket. The rotors also snapped open quite nicely. Unfortunately, I had not built any dihedral into the rotors, so even though the helo autogyroed perfectly, it autogyroed to a soft landing upside down!"
